I am a native New Englander born and raised in Maine. I grew up in Lewiston, Maine with my four sisters and a brother (No sympathy for him please. He was spoiled). We attended the local schools and were members of a local church. Every Sunday we all piled into the family car to visit our grandmothers, aunts, uncles and cousins. My grandmothers were strong independent women who had raised their children to always take care of one another. A lesson passed down to us. We all grew into happy, strong, independent adults thanks to all the love, comfort, support and attention from Mom and Dad.
After graduating from Lewiston High School in 1963, I continued my education earning degrees at Husson College and later Westbrook College. Life took me to Florida, Alabama, New York, South Carolina, and Illinois. In 2016, I moved to Ridgefield, Connecticut where I work remotely as a project manager for SDI Presence with company headquarters in Chicago, Illinois.
My wonderful son, his amazing wife, and my two exceptional grandchildren live in Virginia. When I am not busy working or writing, I travel to Virginia where I indulge in spoiling my grandchildren (when it’s allowed). They take me on wonderful adventures, teach me important lessons, and provide endless entertainment. I especially look forward to our walks together. It is while on these walks that I soon realize I am wandering into our next marvelous adventure.
